Harry Purdom starts the day with a theory-based educational session covering the product features to assist with installation and the different applications to ensure compliance.
Practical installation training with a fitting demonstration from our site technician, then installing the doors under observation. Featuring technical tips and tricks to ensure a compliant and simple installation.
Common mistakes/ lessons learned session. All featured from Selo’s vast experience with riser doors on site – what to look out for or be aware of.
“The training given was first-class and put across in a way that was easily understood. Also getting to install the frames ourselves was beneficial, showing the correct method will save time when on site. I would recommend the training to others, and will be looking to send more of my fitters/Carpenters when places are available in the future.”
“It was most refreshing to see a company being so proactive in trying to train installers to install correctly! Most interesting and very beneficial for all the team that attended, was great to also bounce thoughts and questions off you while we were in class!”
“Selo have consistently supplied a first-class product and in addition has provided technical advice and assistance to ensure that the design concept is fully realised.
Details and schedules have been provided to assist with product information as part of the joinery package documentation.”
“Thank you for how well we were looked after for the day.
This is the only course I have ever been on that I have had people looking forward to a refresher course!”
The products that I viewed during the training looked very well designed and of good quality. They are changing the metal door industry. I feel that the doors should be sold as a complete one stop shop system, including the packers and sealant in Selo branding which makes it easier to use for the installers and for inspections. There will be no issues.
I feel the training was very good and in depth , all our teams questions were answered and the points we raised about the fixing centers were accepted and acted upon.
