Save the Children, Christmas Jumper Day!

At Selo, we are proud to give back to the community and to charities. Our company is built on principles of care and compassion. As a business, we feel that we have a social responsibility to do all we can to support charitable causes. In the past, we have made substantial donations to Rapid Relief Team, Love Musgrove and Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.

On Thursday 12th December, as a company we will be fundraising for Save the Children, Christmas Jumper Day. Christmas Jumper day happens each year and across the UK loads of people will be putting on their Christmas Jumpers to help kids in the UK and around the world who are facing serious issues like war, hunger and poverty. Since starting in 2012, Christmas Jumper Day has helped raised over £30million.

As well as just wearing our silly jumpers (we will be having a competition for the best one!), we will also be holding a bake sale, have a game and a quiz to help raise as much money as we can to support Save the Children. At our bake sale we have a range of goodies from brownies to banana bread and rocky road.

You can take a look at some stories of families that Save the Children have helped throughout the years. There aim is to help create lasting change for children this Christmas!
