At Selo, we launched Halo Assist, to support our clients’ projects from initial training and education sessions, through to post installation support. We know the challenges on-site and how plans can change for projects, so having on-going support to achieve fire compliant doors is vital.
Core value #6 at Selo is ‘we never ever give up’, which includes seeing a project through to the end, with a happy client and dealing with any issues along the way.
We have a unique 13 step process to support our clients projects. We provide a dedicated support team throughout the duration of the project, upskill your teams through training and advise on how to achieve fire compliant solutions.
Here is an overview how we can support your project, from specification to installation. If you would like to hear the full 13 step process or if you would like Selo to support your project from specification to installation, please contact us today!
Understanding your project
The first step when speaking to clients is understanding the project and where our product can solve problems. We immerse ourselves in our clients’ projects to make sure we are providing the right solution. From riser doors to smoke control dampers, all of our products have been created to solve specific problems. We won’t work on a project where it is not the right fit and where we can’t add value.
Our specification team will provide extensive support in clarifying the project specification, securing all necessary compliance certification and can even attend site visits.
This can include any bespoke requirements, such as restrictors on your riser doors or providing a custom finish to your access panels.
Creating beautiful contemporary interiors
Achieving compliant fire doors is step one, but we at Selo exist to create beautiful contemporary interiors. We will work with your team to finalise the design intent for the fire doors and walls as systems, as well as finishes, ironmongery and threshold types. Selo can provide a range of different finishes and ironmongery options, including bespoke options on some orders. You can find out more about bespoke options by contacting sales@selo.global.
Our team will supply with all the options in our brochures and datasheets and will also provide a fully written NBS+ as well as CAD drawings and BIM pack.
Collaboration with your team
Projects are complex and sometimes plans change, which can cause delays or unexpected costs when teams do collaborate. It is important that Selo and your team work closely together, so we will conduct workshops for design and compliance issues, as well as arrange a factory visit. We will work with the contractor to discuss any specific project requirements and make sure we can provide a compliant solution. Selo will supply you and the contractor with a full itemised schedule, along with any information you have requested to reduce the risk of errors.
We will also work closely with your team to provide any requests for information and to agree a delivery schedule that works with your plans. Working closely together, we aim to minimise the risk of change, errors, or delays to your project.
Selo Academy
Selo exists to simplify bespoke and complex building methods, which is why we created the Selo Academy. We know that the fire door and fire compliance sector is a rapidly changing industry, which is why help educate our customers and their teams. At Selo, we host Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Breakfast mornings to educate, share knowledge and answer your questions.
We also host product presentation sessions, either at your site or ours, to explain how our products have been created to solve your problems and upskill your teams. Our ‘Getting It Right’ CPD has helped architects and contractors in the UK understand how they can achieve best practice when it comes to fire compliance.
Selo will work with your team to conduct our Selo Academy training either at your premises, or our site, to deliver complimentary training on installing or products to deliver free hands-on practical installation advice.
